- B cell lymphoma (B for Buds, B for B cells!)
- Over expression of the bcl-2 gene.
- bcl-2 protein is normally involved in preventing apoptosis (poppy flowers!)
- Caused by t(14;18).
- The waxing and waning indolent course of the disease
You can think of budding and flowering to recollect the waxing and waning of the disease.
That's all!
It's a very silly mnemonic actually. Flowers, seriously? ^__^"
